(Díli), Tasi Tolu- Street vendor Antonio Neno as a contracted employee in the Ministry of Education (ME) deployed in the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno (RAEOA), after he finished his contract he (Antonio) continued with the business of selling pots in Tasi Tolu area to continue the basic sustenance of the household.
After interviewing the businessman, he said, first he was a contracted employee in the Ministry of Education (ME) in the department of the Municipal School Meal Association (RAEOA), after finishing the contract he continued to look for ways to do business such as selling Pots on the roadside with a motorcycle to sustain the economy.
“When my contract ended I tried to find another job, so I chose to create my own business such as selling pots and pans with motorcycles around Dili to help the family economy,” said businessman Antonio Neno to journalist Média Mudansa in Tasi Tolu recently.
He stressed, although the business he does not give great benefits to his family but from the business he feels very different from the previous job as a contracted employee, in addition to the business itself can support his three brothers who have finished school in some universities.
“The business I do may be small but can support three brothers to finish their studies at the University,” he declared.
He compared his previous job with the business he did very differently because before as a contracted employee received a salary every month, but with the business he did every day can get up to twenty US dollars ($ 20) or even more than thirty US dollars ($ 30) so he declared that the money can help his family
“A day we can save $ 20 dollars seitap I count $ 20 to 30 dollars more than employees so I can support my 3 brothers finish their studies at the University Bank,” he declared
While businessman Antonio Neno still asks young people not to wait for the government to create jobs but try to open their own small opportunities such as business. And he said do not miss the opportunity and do not wait for the government to create what can benefit us.
