(Internasional), 4 April 2026 The Organization Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) on April 4 held an online ceremony to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), with the participation of representatives from 11 countries in Asia and Africa.
The event was organized by HWPL’s 4 Global Branches and involved 140 participants, including public figures and members of international organizations. During the ceremony, the organizers highlighted the progress made in the last decade through peace institutionalization efforts globally.
The Director of HWPL Global Branch 4 in his opening speech said that this celebration is not only symbolic, but to show the real implementation of peace through education, institutions and civic participation.
The DPCW, which consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses, was promulgated in 2016, after a consultation process by the HWPL International Law Peace Committee involving international law experts from around the world.
During the event, the organizers also presented concrete cases from the State of Georgia, USA, where the peace education initiative PLAY (Peace Leadership Academy for Youth) contributed to the adoption of DPCW resolutions in some cities and municipalities, including South Fulton. This initiative is considered an example of peace implementation through legal and administrative frameworks.
On the other hand, participants also shared plans and visions for peace projects to be implemented in 2026, with the objective of strengthening international collaboration.
National Advisor to the Minister of Justice of Timor-Leste, Ponciano da Cruz Leite, in his intervention said that Timor-Leste will give priority to seminars, peace dialogue and public campaigns to promote conflict resolution and human rights.
“The first priority is the seminar and peace dialogue, and the second priority is the campaign and peace walk as a symbol of national unity,” said Ponciano.
Meanwhile, journalist and director of MEDD TV INFO TCHAD VERT, Mahamat Kao Adoum, said that education and training are important to transform social conflict into cohesion and sustainable peace in his country.
HWPL affirms that through this commemoration, the organization reaffirms its commitment to promote peace as a concrete objective through diplomacy, education and the legal framework. The organization also plans to continue collaboration with global partners to expand the institutionalization of peace in the future.
