According to CEO of Aloi Vera Oil, Aquina Cardoso do Santos said, the product started from the personal experience of the owner, and had the motivation to open a business because her own child had hair problems for three years. After using the oil for a month, her son’s hair began to grow back.

“At first I did it because of my son, I didn’t think to sell it, but when I saw the good results, I began to believe that the oil is very beneficial, not only for hair problems, I also tried to rub it on my father who suffered from itchy, then applied the oil to his father’s body for 30 minutes and itchy feel better”. said Aloi Vera Oil CEO, Aquina Cardoso do Santos

Ceo said social media such as YouTube and TikTok helped her a lot in learning about natural products. He studied from information on the internet about the combination of Aloi Vera, virgin coconut oil (original coconut oil) and kenanga flower (cananga odorata).

“Although no laboratorium tests have been done, we have seen from consumer experience that the product gives good results. Initially, I produced only six bottles with my own capital. Aloe vera and virgin oil were made by myself, and bunga kenanga was sourced from colleagues. Now, we sell large bottles at $10.00 and small bottles at $7.00 to consumers. considering the high price, the long production process and the need for good quality natural ingredients.” He said

Biggest challenge they face is the rainy season, because materials such as nuts and lidah buaya do not give good quality when the weather is not favorable. But now, the business not only produces Aloi Vera Oil, but also virgin coconut oil that can be used for food, body treatment and natural skincare.
